    The most commonly used login at Murdoch University is the combination of Murdoch Username and Murdoch Password.

    This is used for:-

    • Login to computing and network facilities such as computer workstations in computing laboratories
    • Access to application systems (eg. MyHR and My Library) and services (eg. MyMurdoch and Webmail), where access restriction has been applied
    • Access to information resources, including Web pages and files in PDF format, where access restriction has been applied

    NOTE: There are some systems and services that use a login combination other than a Murdoch Username and Murdoch Password.

    Whilst accessing certain systems and services, it may not be necessary to login again. This feature is called 宝宝计划APP首页login persistence, or single sign-on. However, login persistence is not available across all systems and services.

    Login synchronisation refers to the automatic reticulation of the Murdoch Password from the 爱波网首页MAIS database to other authentication systems and selected services, enabling login to application systems and services to use the combination of Murdoch Username and Murdoch Password.

    The following is a selection of application systems and services where access restrictions have been applied. The login combination of Murdoch Username and Murdoch Password is used for authentication purposes. Other application systems that require authentication are listed in the Application Systems Index.

      Telephone PIN Number
    • IT Service Desk System
      Used by students and staff to report IT problems. Off-campus access requires VPN.
    • Murdoch Authentication & Identification System (MAIS)
      The Murdoch Password Change function is used by staff, students and MAIS Others to change their Murdoch Password
      The authority maintenance function is used by a 'custodian' and a 'grantor' to associate a 琼粤彩票首页MAIS Authority Type with persons in the 亿博平台首页MAIS database
    • My Library
      Used by staff and students to check or renew items on loan, check or cancel items on hold, save catalogue searches and setup email alerts
    • MyHR
      Used by staff to check their leave history, leave entitlements and their payment records
    • MyInfo (students)
      Used by students to access details of their enrolment, their unit results, to signup for classes (tutorials, laboratories, workshops) and also to change their contact details such as postal and email address
    • MyMurdoch (students)
      The Student Portal, used to access online Unit Materials, view a Personal Calendar and for access to the MyInfo system
    • MyMurdoch (staff)
      The Staff Portal, used to access the Learning Management System (LMS), Lecture Capture System (LCS) and to view Personal Information such as Leave Balances and Leave Bookings
    • MyStudents
      Used by staff to access the Student Management System (Callista)
    • MyTeaching
      Used by staff to access the LMS and Units with lecture recordings managed by LCS
    • MyUnits
      Used by students to access the LMS, LCS, Reserve and My Unit Readings, and the Personal Calendar portlet, displaying timetable data for lectures, tutorials, labs and workshops

    These systems and services use MAIS Login. Other systems where a changed password is immediately available, include systems that interact directly with the MAIS database for authentication purposes, for example, MyInfo (past students).

    Password synchronisation is done every 5 minutes. Allow at least 5 minutes for the changed password to be available.
